How to serve Hot Sake 熱燗

There are various ways to warm up Sake to enjoy "Hot Sake" , but the best way is in hot water.

• 1. Pour Sake into a Sake bottle (up to the neck).
• 2. Place the Sake bottle into a pot of hot water (app. 98C) and then heat Sake to the desired temperature.(Never boil Sake !)
• * Standard time (180ml ichigo-bottle)
• 2.5min for warm Sake, 3min for hot Sake.

 

Microwave option

Using the microwave to heat Sake is easy, but there is a risk of accidentally boiling it.

• 1. Pour Sake into a Sake bottle (up to the neck).
• 2. Heat Sake for about 30-40sec (600W)
• 3. Mix Sake well with stirrer in the Sake bottle.
• * Sake heated in the microwave will result in unevenly distributed temperatures in the bottle.
