Details

Earthenware (clay) pottery is water-absorbent (porous). Tea, coffee or food residue can leave stains between or under the glaze. Seasoning treatment is recommended.
Before initial use:
1. Fill a cooking pot with water and anything starch based (flour, rice), then place cups/dishes inside. The items must be fully submerged in the starchy water.
2. Boil on low heat for about 10 minutes. Leave the dishes in until the water cools.
*This treatment minimizes staining, however it cannot be completely avoided.
