Details

Noren are traditional Japanese fabric dividers, usually hung between rooms or in doorways. They have one or more vertical slits cut, allowing for easier passage or viewing.

One of famous Ukiyoe-art from series "Fugaku Sanjyu-rokkei,富嶽三十六景" (1830-1832) by Hokusai Katsushika, 葛飾北斎. The series were 36 landscape prints featuring Mount Fuji from different locations and in various season.
